This after camp program will lead youth ages 9-18 on a journey that explores the process of dying fleece and skeins of wool with plants grown on the farm, carding and spinning wool with spindles, and knitting clothing from locally sourced, hand dyed wool. Along the way, participants will learn about supply chains in the clothing industry and how clothing production relates to plant ecology and our food systems.
