FLOCK 2025

On September 26th, we gathered once again for FLOCK - a vibrant celebration of regional and regenerative textile production!

Held at the Union Square Greenmarket, this special event brought together a beautiful array of regional fiber farmers and producers, including Catskill Merino, Rosehaven Alpacas, Dashing Star Farm, and Lilymoore Farm.

The New York Textile Lab showcased our Cimate-Beneficial products and had meaningful conversations with attendees about regenerative agriculture and the power of a regional fiber economy.

NY Fibershed hosted a stunning communal weaving loom, where visitors were invited to weave scrap materials and their personal wishes - a powerful symbol of community and sustainability.

We also enjoyed live natural dye demonstrations led by Fibershed, and students from Pratt Institute shared their work with natural dyes and spoke about their university’s on-campus dye garden.

The day was filled with connection, learning, and a true celebration of local fiber, sustainable practices, and the people who make it all possible - from farmers to designers to curious passersby.
